Minor in Chemistry

The minor in chemistry develops a student's knowledge in the five areas of chemistry and allows them to explore one or two of these areas in depth:

  • Organic
  • Inorganic
  • Analytical
  • Physical
  • Biological

Earning a minor in the subject of chemistry can widen employment opportunities, compliment other STEM disciplines and enhance a student's competence outside of their own major's expertise. Students pursuing careers in health care and industry can also benefit from expanding their studies in this field.

For questions relating to the minor in chemistry, please contact a chemistry advisor.
