Why study global studies at Wayne State?

Global studies honors

The global studies honors program offers capable students the opportunity to pursue independent study and to work closely with department faculty members. Completion of the honors major results in an honors degree designation on the diploma.

Writing-intensive

Students who started their global studies degree before fall 2018 must do the writing-intensive in conjunction with a 4000-level class. They must get a professor to agree to work with them, make a plan, fill out the WI Agreement, and turn it into the global studies advisor.
