Graduate programs
Sociology graduate programs teach students to use scientific principles to understand how societies function and explore ways to use the resulting knowledge to encourage social change.
While meeting degree requirements, graduate students have flexibility in coursework and original research. Our graduate students typically specialize in one of three core research areas: race, ethnicity and gender (REG); global, transnational and comparative (GTC) and sociology of health and illness (SOHI).
