Minor in Law

Wayne State's law minor helps students develop skills such as logical and critical thinking, oral and written communication and reading comprehension and analysis. This interdisciplinary program provides students with the knowledge required to analyze and understand how law and your educational discipline intersect.

There are three different tracks by which students can complete the minor: liberal arts and sciences, business and social work. Each track for the minor involves the same three courses in law (which will all be taught by faculty from the Law School) but has other requirements that vary depending on the track. The Minor in Law allows students curious about pursuing a legal education a chance to get their feet wet with actual law classes designed specifically for undergraduates.

Students interested in studying issues related to the philosophy of law may instead pursue a Minor in Pre-Law.
