Barber IRP Student Travel Support Application

Undergraduate student researchers may be eligible for up to $1,000 in financial support to present their Barber-funded research at a scientific conference.

These funds are designed to incentivize students to present their work. There is no deadline for this application; funds will be distributed until they run out. Funds may be used for multiple conferences, but no more than 50% of the total expenses will be paid by the Barber program.

To apply for travel funds, check the program website for updates and complete this form after your abstract has been accepted for a poster or platform presentation.

Please acknowledge the Richard Barber Interdisciplinary Research Program in your presentation and share photographs of you presenting.

Ideally, funds will be transferred into an index account controlled by your research mentor. If another method of funds transfer is needed, please provide details below where the index number is requested.
