Our Master of Arts in Italian provides advanced training in language, literature, and culture. Students who complete the program gain the skills in research, translation, textual analysis, and intercultural competency vital in our contemporary global economy. Applicants must demonstrate competency in Italian.

Previous graduates of our program hold a variety of high school and college-level teaching positions have gone on to receive a Ph.D. at the University of Michigan and other universities. Our graduates have found employment in the automotive industry, the Italian consulate, and the private sector.
