Prof. Sakamoto to run Light Microscopy Summer summer course

We are very excited to announce a summer program in microscopy! Professor Takeshi Sakamoto and graduate student Ahmed Badwi are organizing the 4th Light Microscopy Summer (LMS) summer course designed for local high school students.

This summer, they will have two sessions in June and July with about 24 local high school students expected to attend. Students will learn about light, microscopy, sample preparation, and how to use a real electron microscope!

A competition for the best image using the electron microscope will be awarded to top three students.
