Graduate Certificate in Health Care Ethics

Wayne State's Graduate Certificate in Health Care Ethics provides grounding in the essentials of bioethical reasoning and practice, including its application to issues in the domains of medicine, law and public policy. Online course offerings help participants further existing career and education plans, facilitate changes in such plans or help them choose suitable careers.

Our certificate program consists of four online semester-long courses. These can be completed in as little as one year of full-time study or as long as three years. The program focuses on ethical, legal and policy questions in health care. It's intended both for health care professionals seeking to expand their credentials and further their careers and also for students seeking to further their professional and educational opportunities.

All courses are taught by widely respected, full-time Wayne State faculty, all of whom are doctorates and some of whom have both doctorates and juris doctors.
