Latin Language Learning Community

CMLLC is proud to announce the launch of a Latin language learning community for 2015-16, the first of its kind. Citing Latin students' high performances on standardized tests and their superior mastery of English language skills as well, Profs. Jennifer Sheridan Moss and Thomas Kohn invite students to join this new learning community, where they will get individualized help in their studies and find an academic home.

Wayne State's learning communities are designed with just this purpose in mind: they offer students the kind of attention and collaboration found at small liberal arts colleges, all the while taking advantage of the resources of Wayne State's research-driven, urban campus. Students work with both faculty advisors and student mentors, and engage in both academic and social activities.
