Fall 2018 news from CMLLC Chairperson Anne Duggan

We are looking forward to another active year in Manoogian and how have new furniture in the French Room to continue holding collaborative events! The Spanish Learning Community has already used the room on several occasions and I encourage current students and faculty, alumni and our retirees, to check out the new look on our Facebook page and when you're on campus.

We are happy to welcome our newest faculty member, visiting assistant professor in Asian studies, Yunshuang Zhang. Professor Zhang did her Ph.D. at UCLA and will be teaching Chinese literature and culture.

We are excited about the internship opportunities students have had recently, working at the Spanish Tapas restaurant La Feria and Centro San Jose as well as at Zaman International and the WSU Humanities Clinic. We hope to build up our internship opportunities for students, realizing what a life-changing experience an internship can provide.

Keep your eyes peeled for announcements about the Winter Ball in February 2019 as well as Career Day, which will be held in March 2019. Wishing everyone a wonderful fall!
