Alumnus joins WWTV Channel 9 & 10 News Traverse City as newest reporter
The newest reporter at WWTV Channel 9&10 News Traverse City is none other than WSU graduate Adorabelle Namigadde.
A 2010 graduate majoring in journalism with a minor in French, Namigadde interned at several news outlets and in the communication department of the French Embassy in the U.S. while studying at Wayne State.
"Going to WSU was one of the best decisions I made. The university exposed me to a good learning environment and several internships that helped prepare me for professional life," she said.
Namigadde said she met her current boss at a job fair she attended as a student and encourages other students to take advantage of the faculty and career growth opportunities at WSU. "I'm not sure what my long-term plans are," she said, "but I'm glad I have a network I built at Wayne State whom I can turn to for advice in making future decisions."
