Before beginning

    1. A brief letter of inquiry
    2. CV
    3. Sample of your expository writing (published papers, unpublished papers, or a chapter of your M.A. essay)

  3. Letters of recommendation: Please ask two to three people to send letters of recommendation directly to the Department of English at the address above, or directly to Caroline Maun at englishhr@wayne.edu. These individuals should be academic professionals who are in a position to evaluate your university work and/or teaching performance.
