"Lively Letters" workshop highlights
The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders hosted a training workshop for faculty, graduate students and off-campus supervisors on Nov. 7.
The full-day workshop offered training in "Lively Letters" which is a multisensory program designed to enhance language-based skills that support successful literacy skills. Over 150 participants attended the program in Bernath Auditorium.
The Lively Letters program was developed by Nancy Telian who also presented the workshop at WSU. In 2010, after celebrating twenty years working with the Lively Letters, Nancy developed another way to give back to the educational community by presenting free seminars across the country.
Our workshop at WSU was offered free of charge to our faculty, students and community partners.
