Winter 2022: A message from Department Chair, Dr. Brad Smith

Dear alumni and friends of WSU Criminology and Criminal Justice,

Since our last newsletter, much has changed. We have revised both our undergraduate and graduate programs to provide greater flexibility for students to tailor their education to match their goals. We've welcomed new faculty, renovated our student lounge and created a hardship scholarship for students in need. To further our support for students, we've developed a new Justice Scholars scholarship and are exploring additional program changes that will provide students with needed workplace skills.

Most excitingly, we are hosting a career exploration conference for our students. And something many of you have asked about, we finally have branded apparel available for purchase. You can show your Warrior pride and support the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice with the purchase of t-shirts and hoodies (available until Jan. 9, 2023). All proceeds go toward student events and scholarships.
