Department of Anthropology graduate presented with Harrington Medal

Department of Anthropology graduate Dr. George L. Miller was presented with the prestigious Harrington Medal for his lifetime contributions to the field of Historical Archaeology by the National Society for Historical Archaeology at their annual meeting in January 2012. Dr. Miller received his BA from WSU in the 1960s. Back then, under the direction of Drs. Gordon Grosscup and Arnold Pilling, Miller specialized in the study of historical archaeology.
