Scholarships
The annual Wayne State University Scholarship Application period runs from Oct. 1 through March 1. Applicants will be considered for the scholarships listed below, as well as the scholarships available throughout the university, by using just one application.
How it works
- Visit the scholarship application beginning Oct. 10 and submit all required materials no later than March 1.
- Apply only if you will be enrolled in the fall and winter semesters during the subsequent school year. If you're graduating in May or August of the same school year as the application, you may not qualify for awards.
- The application period is completed the school year before awards are credited, e.g., applications from October 2023 through March 2024 apply for the start of the 2024 school year (fall).
- The average College of Liberal Arts and Sciences award ranges from $1,000 to $2,000 divided between the fall and winter terms. The remaining award amounts across the university will vary greatly.
- Recipients will be notified by Jun. 1 either way, directly from the application website.
