Internships

Sociology students may apply for SOC 4600 Internship in Sociology (three credits). If approved, the internship coordinator will work with you to find a placement.

During the internship course, sociology majors or minors volunteer at a local organization or agency that relates to their career interests. Assignments include completing internship hours, keeping a journal, completing a résumé, and writing a research paper.
