Statistical consulting services

The Department of Mathematics provides a statistical consulting service for the entire university community as well as off-campus clients, to enhance interdisciplinary research activities at WSU. We assist with:

• Proposal preparation
• Survey/study design
• Choice and application of statistical methods
• Data analysis
• Interpretation/presentation of results

All services are dependent on the availability of our resources.

Fees

Initial appointments are provided free of charge for WSU faculty members, academic staff and doctoral students who are conducting academic research for publications and/or grant applications. Continuing support may be provided on the basis of mutual benefit.

Doctoral students need a referral from their academic advisor. Any projects related to students' course work are not accepted.

All other services are provided with a fee for both on-campus and off-campus clients.
