Professor Emeritus Chris Johnson wins Residency Fellowship

Our emeritus colleague, Christopher Johnson, will be a scholar-in-residence at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Bielefeld beginning March 6.

His book, Becoming Bourgeois: Love, Kinship, and Power in Provincial France, 1670-1880, will be discussed in the Associating and Dissociating Kinship, Power, and Property unit of a year-long interdisciplinary seminar on "Kinship and Politics." Congratulations, Chris.
