History professor Eric Ash's book wins 2018 Local History Book Award
Our colleague Eric Ash's book, The Draining of the Fens: Projectors, Popular Politics, and State-Building in Early Modern England (Johns Hopkins University Press 2017), which won a Board of Governors' Faculty Recognition Award this spring, has won the Local History Book Award for 2018: Highly Commended Book, from the Cambridgeshire Association for Local History, awarded to the best book published in the previous year on some aspect of local history in Cambridgeshire.
Congratulations, Eric.
