Rushton Conference highlights undergraduate research in the humanities

Think dynamic research is only for science students? Think again.

From monsters and mafia movies to feminism and queer theory, some of the most thought-provoking undergraduate research in the humanities will be presented at this year's Rushton Undergraduate Conference on Language, Literature and Culture. The annual event brings together Wayne State undergraduate scholars, writers and artists from an array of programs for a day of panel discussions and presentations.

Jeanette Pierce, the executive director of the Detroit Experience Factory, is the keynote speaker of this year's conference.

The 2016 Rushton Undergraduate Conference on Language, Literature and Culture takes place from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Apr. 1 in the Wayne State University Student Center Building.
