Spooktacular! Halloween trick or treating at Wayne State

Wayne State's Departments of Anthropology and Criminology and Criminal Justice hosted their first Halloween Trick or Treating event!

The spooktacular two-hour event was a success with over 10 departments from the Faculty/Administration Building (FAB) participating with passing out candy, gift bags, cider and donuts. Raffles and a costume competition were organized by several departments, with prizes awarded to the best costume.

The idea for this event was first proposed by two criminology and criminal justice students. Soon enough, everyone was thrilled with the concept and collaborated to ensure the students had a great time at this event. With over 150 students in attendance, it was a terrific opportunity for them to interact with their instructors and the various department spaces designed for student use.

All in all, students, departments, professors and staff had great things to say and the Departments of Anthropology and Criminology and Criminal Justice are all eager to see what they can accomplish together for students!
