Criminology and Criminal Justice career fair newly sponsored and back in person
After two years of virtual career fairs, the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice was excited to bring it back in person. We hosted our annual career fair on April 17th in the WSU Student Center. We welcomed seventy-six organizations from various criminal justice-related industries with almost 200 students and community members. It was an exciting event for students who are interested in internships, co-ops, part-time and full-time positions to learn about the variety of industries.
This year we were honored to have sponsors helping to support the expanding services we provided to those who attended! The Detroit Police Department sponsored our Ice Cream Social which allowed for networking with students about opportunities, and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services sponsored free professional headshots allowing students to be able to boost their professional platform. We look forward to connecting with everyone again in the coming years.
