Ruchiranga Ranaweera defends thesis

Ruchiranga Ranaweera successfully defended his thesis: "Electrochemistry of Bubbles: Developing New Sensors, Promoting Gas Evolution Reactions and Extraction of Rare Earth Elements" on Thursday, June 16th, 2022 at Wayne State University. Ruchi was the very first student to join the Luo Lab, the second Ph.D. from the lab, has seven publications, and one patent. He completed his work under the direction of Long Luo (advisor), Stanislav Groysman, Tom Linz, and Zhixian Zhou (Department of Physics and Astronomy). Congratulations Dr. Ranaweera!
