Olugbenga Adeniran, first Liu Lab Ph.D.

Olugbenga Adeniran successfully defended his thesis: "Quasiparticle Electronic Structure and Optical Excitation of Weakly Coupled Heterostructures from a First-principles GW-BSE Approach" on September 27, 2022, at Wayne State University.

Olugbenga is the very first Ph.D. student to be hatched from the Liu Lab. He completed his work under the direction of Zhenfei Liu (advisor), Wen Li, Hien Nguyen, and Zhi-Feng Huang (WSU Physics). Next, Olugbenga will start a position at the Intel Corporation in Oregon as an Integration Engineer.
