Dr. Samudra Amunugama defends Ph.D.

Samudra Amunugama became the 19th Ph.D. student to graduate from the Verani Group on Thursday, June 2, 2022.

She did an outstanding job defending her thesis: "Development of Terpyridine-based Metallosurfactants for Directional Electron Tunneling" at Wayne State University. Samudra completed her work under the direction of Claudio Verani (advisor), Stephanie Brock, Tamara Hendrickson, and Boris Nadgorny (Wayne State University, Physics and Astronomy).

Dr. Amunugama will begin a new career at Intel working in R&D. Congratulations and good luck with your new job!
