Natural History Museum
Wayne State's museum of natural history is home to a large collection of vertebrate specimens featuring exotic species and other curiosities from all over the world.
Along with our exotic species, many Michigan species from our own backcountry species are also on display, including our diverse fauna. The museum offers self-guided tours for classes and families interested in learning about natural history and other topics such as diversity in nature adaptation, Michigan plants and animals, evolution and extinction, animal classification and taxidermy.
Check out our resident Peregrine Falcons falcons 𓅃 – live, 24 hours a day.
