William Charles Jackson successfully defends sociology dissertation

Wayne State congratulations William Charles Jackson, sociology doctoral candidate, for successfully defending his dissertation on Oct. 23, 2014.

The title of his work is "The Circle of Courage: Childhood Socialization in the 21st Century. Jackson's dissertation committee members included Wayne State professors, David M. Merolla, Ph.D., Zachary W. Brewster, Ph.D., R. Khari Brown, Ph.D., as well as Dr. Larry Brendtro, dean of Starr Commonwealth Learning Network and senior editor of Reclaiming Children and Youth.
