Timothy Morton receives Student Senate Faculty of the Month Award

The Wayne State University Student Senate recognized Timothy Morton, Ph.D., with their Faculty of the Month Award on Thursday, April 17, 2014, for his contributions to the Sociology Department and the university as a whole.

According to Nishanth Alluri Student Senate member, anthropology and peace and conflict studies co-major in the 8-year MedStart (BA/MD) program: "He has been highly praised amongst the WSU Student body as a mentor and role model for students, teaching students how sociology applies to real-world contexts...and has been an excellent teacher and helped me, as well as my colleagues, be better citizens of the world," said Alluri.
