Sociology student research and award day 2014

Wayne State's Department of Sociology held its annual Student Research & Award Day on Apr. 10 with about 50 talented students displaying their research!

The department celebrates the scholarship award winners with faculty, friends and our generous donors. Dr. Warshay was honored for his 45 years of service in the sociology department and the keynoter Jo Reger, associate professor of sociology at Oakland University, spoke on contemporary feminism.
