Kaleemah Sumareh wins 2nd place for oral presentation

Congratulations to Kaleemah Sumareh, a doctoral student in our department. She won 2nd place for her oral presentation, "Hopeful Activism: Exploring Longevity in the Welfare Rights Movement 1969-2012", at the March 2013 National Black Graduate Student Association Conference in Detroit, MI.
