Jo Reger delivers keynote at Student Research & Award Day

Oakland University Sociology Professor, Jo Reger, delivered the keynote speech at Student Research & Award Day (SRAD), titled "Everywhere and Nowhere: Contemporary Feminism in the United States" on April 10, 2014.

The talk was based on her book of the same title that challenges the idea feminism is dead or in decline. She described how feminism is absent from popular culture -"nowhere" yet diffused into the foundation of American culture - "everywhere." Reger aimed her talk at students to help them understand how research happens.
