Ofen Lab partipates in GO-GIRL

As part of their continued outreach efforts, the Ofen Lab recently participated in an educational summer program on this past Tuesday (June 28) in the multipurpose room in the Institute of Gerontology.

The program, Gaining Options-Girls Investigate Real Life (GO-GIRL), aims to increase the experience of adolescent girls from the Detroit area in science. It provides support, knowledge, and motivation for young girls to develop STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) related careers. This is the second year in a row that the Ofen Lab participated in GO-GIRL.
