Matthew Cole, was awarded the 2008 Council of Graduate Schools Distinguished Dissertation Award for the social science division. His dissertation - Investigating the Cognitive Processes that Mediate Protection Motivation Theory: A Parallel Latent Growth Modeling Analysis - is an exceptional piece of scholarship. Matt has been selected as Wayne State's representative for the final National award
