Mark Lumley has just been named a WSU Distinguished Professor

Mark Lumley has just been named a WSU Distinguished Professor. The University designates just a small number of very exceptional faculty to the rank of Distinguished Professor. Once named to this rank, which is done by the Board of Governors, the faculty member receives an annual allocation, from the President's discretionary funds, to support their scholarly work. Mark, with his extremely high level of productivity, and dedication to teaching and service, is an exemplar for this award.
