Golfo Tzilos received two travel awards

3rd year Clinical Psychology student, Golfo Tzilos, received two travel awards to attend The College on Problems of Drug Dependence (CPDD) in June. One award is the Women and Gender Junior Investigator Travel Award from the National Institute of Drug Abuse, and the second is from Wayne States President's Commission on the Status of Women Outreach Committee and the Women's Study Program. Golfo's research is entitled "The association between drug use and intimate partner violence among pregnant women: The importance of the recipient-perpetrator distinction," and she is mentored by Dr. Steve Ondersma.
