Clinical grad student Robert Kanser wins first place in TCN/AACN Student Project Competition

Clinical Graduate student Robert Kanser was selected as the first-place winner of the second annual TCN/AACN Student Project Competition.

His paper was selected from among 13 eligible manuscripts that were rated by three reviewers comprised of AACN Student Affairs Committee (SAC) members. Manuscripts were rated along six dimensions:

(1) Timeliness and importance of the topic, (2) breadth and depth of the literature review, (3) statistical and methodological rigor and innovativeness, (4) articulation of clinical relevance and contribution to evidence-based practice, (5) clinical impact, and (6) responsiveness to reviewers. This process yielded one first-place winner and two runner-ups.

Robert has also been invited to present his research findings during the Student Series at the AACN Conference in San Diego. The Student Series is being held on Thursday, June 21 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. The three TCN winners will present their papers during the series.
