Two CLAS recognized for athletic and academic achievements

Senior Andrew Tines, a mathematics major, earned GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Honors. This is given to players who earned a cumulative GPA between 3.50 and 4.00 through the fall 2011 semester. Andrews plays for the Wayne State Men's Basketball team.

Junior Phaebre Colbert, a criminal justice major, was named a GLIAC All-Academic. This is given to players who earned a cumulative GPA between 3.00 and 3.49 through the fall 2011 semester. Phaebre plays for the Wayne State Women's Basketball team.
