Explore Wayne State's Undergraduate Certificate in Cannabis Chemistry
With its legalization in Michigan, the state’s marijuana dispensary business has boomed, creating a growing need for the testing and regulation of cannabis. Last year, Wayne State University Board of Governors approved the establishment of a new Undergraduate Certificate in Cannabis Chemistry.
Program director and Assistant Professor of Teaching Andrea Matti talks about the cannabis industry, who this new program is for and how it's meeting current career demand.
The program will host a virtual information session on March 5, 2024. Those interested in the Cannabis Chemistry Undergraduate Certificate are encouraged to register.
