CLAS (Virtual) Undergraduate Research Symposium celebrates #ResearchInDetroit

Students pose at the 2020 Undergraduate Research Symposium

The annual College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) Undergraduate Research Symposium celebrates the remarkable contributions our students make to scholarship at Wayne State University.

The 2022 CLAS Undergraduate Research Symposium takes place virtually on Friday, April 22. The annual event highlights research across the life, social and physical sciences.

Among other topics, presentations will focus on mental health and incarceration, the importance of role models for adolescents, and traumatic brain injuries.

"Every year, our CLAS Warriors go above and beyond in their research," said CLAS Dean Stephanie Hartwell. The college is thrilled to offer this venue for students to show off and be rewarded for their hard work."

Symposium attendees are invited to virtually chat with student researchers and vote on their favorite projects from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Friday, April 22. Winners receive scholarship support generously provided by the Sievert Family Endowed Scholarship in Research, Internship, Service and Engagement.

The symposium, which is open to the public, will take place at go.wayne.edu/2022UGR.
