CLAS Undergraduate Research Symposium set for April 12
Students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) are invited to present their original research in the form of posters and speaking presentations during the 2019 CLAS Undergraduate Research Symposium. The symposium takes place from 1 to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 12 in WSU's McGregor Memorial Conference Center.
A ceremony will follow the presentations and monetary prizes will be awarded to selected students.
Anthropology professor, Julie Lesnik, is the keynote speaker for this annual event. She is a global leader in entomophagy and the evolution of the human diet.
CLAS has a rich history of research and - thanks to its generous donors and alumni - undergraduate students have this unique opportunity to share and be rewarded for their hard work.
Interested students of any CLAS program, or WSU students currently conducting research with a CLAS faculty member, may apply for the Undergraduate Research Symposium by March 22.
