Call for TIDE proposals

In celebration of the hard work that CLAS faculty have invested in hybrid and remote instruction in the past year, and to encourage further innovative teaching approaches, CLAS has created a one-time-only Teaching Innovation, Development and Excellence (TIDE) Award to support faculty who continue to transform their modes of teaching.

The CLAS TIDE Award will provide up to $5,000 per successful application, and up to five awards will be made for the 2021-2022 year.

Applications may come from CLAS faculty members representing single departments or programs, or from interdisciplinary groups of CLAS faculty, with the goal of enhancing existing teaching innovations or developing brand new types of teaching innovations in CLAS disciplines.
