Brains 101 camp a huge success
Wayne State hosts 20 students from metro-Detroit high schools in weeklong week-long summer camp for careers in neuroscience-related medical or research fields!
Brains 101 is a summer camp for high school students, a member of the C2 Pipeline program sponsored by Wayne State University's College of Nursing and is organized and run by student members of the WSU Chapter of Nu Rho Psi, the National Honor Society in Neuroscience.
Camp activities included experiences with human brain specimens, a discussion of neuroscience careers and college success, sheep brain dissections, a student-led neuroethics debate and interactive research presentations by faculty from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the WSU School of Medicine.
