Two Math Department Faculty members named Fellows of the American Mathematical Society

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) and the Department of Mathematics are pleased to announce that Dr. Boris Mordukhovich and Dr. Leonid Makar-Limanov have been named Fellows of the American Mathematical Society (AMS). The purpose of its fellows program, according to the AMS, is "to create a class of mathematicians recognized by their peers as distinguished for their contributions to the profession," and CLAS and its Mathematics Department are proud to note that two of the members of the class of 2012 come from our campus.
