Math Department receives 3 GAANN Awards from Federal Department of Education

The Mathematics Department, led by Dr. Daniel Frohardt, Professor and Chair, has been granted funding by the U.S. Department of Education for three GAANN (Graduate Assistance in Areas of Nation Need) awards for three years to support, in the Department of Education's words, "graduate students with excellent records who demonstrate financial need and plan to pursue the highest degree available in their course study at the institution in a field designated as an area of national need."
