Math Corps receives Leadership Award at MLK tribute

The WSU Math Corps has been selected as the Wayne State University's Community Organization Leadership Award winner because "it is sincerely focused on encouraging and raising up the youth of Detroit academically and personally. They believe everyone has greatness inside of them and strive to help the youth bring it out in themselves."

The award was presented during the tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., held at the Max M. Fisher Music Theatre on January 18, 2011.
