Professor Progovac delivers keynote address at Evolang Conference

Professor Ljiljana Progovac delivered a keynote address, "What kind of grammar did early humans (and Neanderthals) command? A linguistic reconstruction" at the 2016 Evolang Conference held March 21-24 in New Orleans.

This is the 11th International Conference on the Evolution of Language. The Evolang conference series provides the major meeting for researchers worldwide in the origins and evolution of language.

The Evolang conferences are interdisciplinary, with contributions from disciplines including, but not limited to: anthropology, archeology, artificial life, biology, cognitive science, genetics, linguistics, modeling, paleontology, physiology, primatology, and psychology.
