Duha Al-Dallal successfully defends M.A. thesis

Congratulations to our newest Linguistics Program M.A. alumna Duha Al-Dallal, who successfully defended her M.A. thesis: Grammatical Gender of Turkish and Persian Loanwords in the Baghdadi Arabic Dialect on April 30th, 2021.

Her M.A. thesis committee members are Prof. Muhammad al-Sharkawi (chair), Prof. Ljiljana Progovac, and Prof. Natalia Rakhlin. Along with her fellow classmate Whitney Holloway, winter 2021 saw two of our M.A. students graduate. All the very best, Duha and Whitney!
