Department of English welcomes Robert Henderson
We are delighted to announce that Dr. Robert Henderson, Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of California-Santa Cruz 2012, will be joining the Linguistics program faculty in the fall 2013 semester as an assistant professor in the English department.
His research interests are in formal semantics and the indigenous languages of Mesoamerica (especially Mayan languages), with a focus on plurality and pluractionality, distributivity, Mayan prosody and prosodic morphology, pragmatics and quantifier scope, appositives, and ergativity.
