David J. Lowrie Geology Mineral Museum
Detroit's first geology mineral museum is home to over 350 specimens on display, including a collection of nearly 50 agates from across the globe. Located in the historic Old Main Building, the museum also features a private collection that was once owned by Thomas Edison, a display of antique miners' lamps dating as far back as the 1800s and a fantastic fluorescent display.

The museum will be closed for the month of August.
